As an extroverted accountant people often ask me what I am doing in this field. And to be honest, there have been times when I have asked myself that as well.

You see, I have always been outgoing and absolutely love to talk to people, to teach them, and to encourage them to thrive. The problem is…. when you do taxes and accounting for a living people rarely WANT to talk about these things. They would much rather hide their head in the sand and fight you every inch of the way as you work through their financials with them. As the accounting professional on the other side of the table, I often found this extremely unfulfilling and throughout the years I have debated leaving the industry on a whole more than once.

To make matters worse, the times that I DID run across the individuals who actually wanted to learn more, I usually found they had been met with grumpy accountants who were overworked, burnt out, and refusing to take any extra time to guide them unless an ultra high price tag was attached. They were frustrated, drowning in the complexities of the field, and struggling to figure out how to make it all come together on their modest budgets.

This was a struggle for me for many years. I saw the gap between ordinary people and tax and accounting professionals, but I didn’t know how to bridge it. As social media became the ultimate source of financial education for individuals, real estate professionals and entrepreneurs, I noticed the misinformation beginning to run rampant. Between influencers using their thirty seconds to explain complex concepts, and the audience filling in the details with inaccurate comments, I felt panic for the millions of people who were being led astray without even knowing it. I wanted to help them all… but the problem is there is only one me, and so many of you.

One day, the thought struck me. I have the knowledge. I have the experience. I have the credibility of doing it all myself and helping hundreds of others do it too. I realized I needed to create a community where I can provide free and low cost resources to all of the people out there who can’t afford a high priced CPA. A place for all of these people who email me and other accountants begging for help only to either be turned down because their client lists are already full, be proposed a cost they can’t afford, or engage with someone who claims to know what they are doing but they actually don’t.

I knew then that it was up to me to create the ultimate place for wealth building, business scaling, and money mindset nurturing, and those who have been searching for it will come.

This way I am fulfilled. You are served. And we all grow in success.
